Back to School Celebration

Kick off the new school year with an afternoon of free family fun at River Park Square's annual Back to School Celebration on Saturday, August 15 from 10am-2pm.

Free Family Fun

Enjoy family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and interactive experiences while getting excited for the school year ahead. Receive colorful balloon art, get your face painted, press your own bath bomb with LUSH, snap fun photos at the POP Balloon Bar photo booth, and enjoy live music from a DJ throughout the event. Plus, don't miss prizes and giveaways for the whole family!

Give Back with Tools 2 Schools

Help local students start the school year prepared! Bring a donation for Tools 2 Schools, a partnership between Communities in Schools, KREM 2, and Office Depot that provides school supplies and other essentials to local students in need.

River Park Square is serving as a Tools 2 Schools collection site throughout August, with a special collection taking place during our Back to School Celebration. This year, donations will be especially impactful as our community works to support students and families affected by the recent Spokane-area fires.

Donations needed include new backpacks, new school supplies, and personal care items.
